Source of data:  Was provided by the late Jerry Shears, the first president of Boxing Canada
along with a column for publication in an issue of the "BC Amateur Boxing News"
from the mid-Eighties.  Jerry, from Quebec, took the time to go through his old list
of boxing records and retrieved the list of names from an old boxing program of
bouts that took place in 1972 in British Columbia.  Of interest, it includes some of the
original names of persons that were involved in starting new boxing clubs.
